Hey Family! Remember when we told you to mark down on your calendar the first weekend of February as “AWESOME”…? That weekend is finally here! We need you to turn in the registration form by January 29th.
Important Things:
The theme for our weekend is “RADICAL”. You can’t believe how excited we are about this theme & the way that God is going to use it to grow you & take you to that next level in your relationship with Him!
From this point on we are calling our time together over the weekend an “ADVANCE”. It is no longer a retreat. The reason for this is because the people of God & the Church should never “retreat”, rather we should always be advancing with the message of hope & salvation of Jesus Christ to change lives & change the world… so get with the lingo & help spread the word!
Here are the details:
• Radical: A Winter Advance Weekend is from February 3rd- 5th
• The cost is $20 – this will cover all your food for the weekend & a T-Shirt
• You will spend Friday night, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning here at the Church
• You can begin arriving at the Church & checking on Friday between the times of 4:30-5:00pm.
We will be finished on Sunday morning the 5th by 9:30am. Have your parents pick you up by 10:00am at the latest. If you would like you can stay over for youth “SUPER” Bowl Sunday School at 10:00am & church at 11:00.
• The last day to sign-up is Sunday January 29th. You must have your permission slip (included with this letter) & your $20 turned in by then. Spots will fill up fast so the sooner you can reserve your spot the better!
• All you will need for the weekend will be your pillow, a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, or blankets, a change of clothes to sleep in and for each day, your toiletries, a towel, a Bible, a journal, & a pen. If you want you can bring snacks for yourself for the weekend, but all meals and some snacks will be provided.
• This is a great weekend to invite your friends to. We would love them to share in what God has in store for us, but to make sure there are enough spots for everybody we must have everyone registered by Sunday January 29th. This means if you want your friends to be there with you for the weekend… get busy & INVITE THEM ASAP!!
