Lindsey recently graduated from Duke Divinity School and did her undergraduate work at University of Illinois. She is originally from Durham, but grew up in Chicago. Join her and the other ladies of Blackburn House for morning prayer on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. at the Blackburn House located at 3998 Todd Railroad Grade Road in Todd.

Colette Krontz is minister to and with children at Boone United Methodist Church. She has been involved with children’s ministry for the past twelve years and has been Director since 2007.

Jennifer Whittington

Jennifer joined the Boone United Methodist Church Staff in April 2007. She and her husband, John, attend the Crossroad service on Sunday mornings. On Thursday evenings you can usually find them helping Luke distribute Green Street Catering meals from the front Narthex.

Barbara joined the Boone United Methodist Church Staff in August, 2009 as the Part-time Bookkeeper. She enjoys participating in the 8:45 a.m. Praise Worship Service and enjoys being involved in the BUMC Fall Bazaar each year.
 
 
 
 

Andy Ellis

Andy began working with the youth ministry as a volunteer college student. After graduation he was hired part-time as youth ministry assistant in 2009. In his time at BUMC Andy has been blessed to witness the youth ministry transform from a program-based ministry to a thriving small group-based ministry.

Kathy first came to Boone United Methodist Church in 2005. She is a great pianist who brings excitement, talent and enthusiasm to the Praise and Worship Service. She also uses her talents to accompany the Chancel Choir as well as the High Country High School Chorale.

 
 
 

Luke Edwards

Luke coordinates the missions movement at Boone UMC. He believes the church is called to share the good news of Jesus Christ while building upon the assets of communities and helping to eliminate the obstacles holding communities in poverty. Dana Holden

Dana Holden became director of the Boone United Methodist Preschool in August of 2012. She grew up in Alabama where she graduated from Birmingham-Southern College, then continued her education at Southern Methodist University where she received a Master of Theology degree.

Custodial Staff

The custodial staff of Boone United Methodist Church is an important part of our ministry. They assure that the building is clean and the rooms are set-up as requested. Mike Carson has been on staff since 1999.

Volunteer Staff

The volunteers of Boone United Methodist Church are an integral part of the everyday operations of the church. There are 2 individuals that are considered Volunteer Staff. Mae Robbins has kept the member information updated since 1997. Denise Stanley has been assisting the office staff and worked with communications and the website since 2008.
