Clean out your closets and get ready. Trailers for collecting donations are located behind the church and are open 7:00am-7:00 pm. Please sort and label your boxes for easier distribution. Accepted items now through Sept. 17, 2024, are: gently used clothing, kitchen items, linens, yard sale items, shoes, accessories, games, puzzles, toys, books, and DVDs. We DO NOT accept pianos, toilets, cribs, car seats, textbooks, electronics, mattresses, sleeper sofas, and soiled or dirty items.

Join in the fun! Sort, fold, hang, organize, and price donated items during the week before the Bazaar, Sept. 16-19. On Sunday, Sept. 15, immediately following the 11:00 am Combined Worship Service, we meet behind the building to unload trailers into the church. We also need volunteers to: check electrical items for working order, secure donations for Silent Auction, bake items for Country Cupboard, set up and breakdown rooms. Country Cupboard needs your homemade goodies! Please consider making cakes, pies, cookies, fudge, breads, canned goods, jams, jellies, or other homemade food items to sell. Be sure to wrap in see-through plastic so that people can see how delicious they are. Please label items and include your name and/or special ingredients. Items can be brought to the Family Life Center on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Do you possess a special talent, or are you a business owner? Do you have a treasure in your home that you are no longer using? The Silent Auction creates a lot of excitement and is anticipated each year by our members as well as the community. We have a special storage pod for furniture donations! Please call the Church Office at 828-264-6090 during business hours to receive the lock combination code. Furniture pick-ups are NOT available.
