Each year we host a Missions Celebration Weekend. You will be intrigued by the missionaries and their stories. You will be moved and feel the presence of God in our midst as we hear of His work throughout the world. You will feel that, in some special way, you are part of it all. Each year there is a special theme and scripture reference which provides a time for our hearts to be renewed in our commitment to follow God’s command to make disciples of all the nations.

“The mark of a good church is not its seating capacity, but its sending capacity.”  – Mike Stachura, USA Director for Operation Mobilization

We support many local, national and global ministries that touch the hurting lives of God’s people. The church is best defined by the missions to which we give ourselves.

Listed below are some of the international organizations that we support:

Operation Christmas Child – Through Operation Christmas Child, we have an opportunity to be a part of changing children’s lives all over the world in Jesus’ Name through the power of a simple gift.  Shoe boxes are available if you would like to pack a box on your own. There are also baskets to donate items that will be used to fill boxes at our church-wide packing party during the Thanksgiving Meal on November 22. Click here to see a list of appropriate gifts to be included in a shoe box. Youth small groups will also have a packing party on Nov. 29. All boxes will be collected by December 6, when we will pray over them in worship.  Remember $7 should be included with each box to help ship it to its destination. Questions? Contact Pastor Laura or Jonathan Allen.
