Advent Boxes for Children & Families
Pick up an Advent Box for the children in your life, while supplies last! On Sunday mornings and during church hours, boxes are available inside the Church Lobby on the “big brown couch.” We hope that your family will be blessed this Advent season as you create crafts included in these boxes!
Nursery & Children’s Church
Come meet our Childcare Experts! We have a Nursery available for infants through 2-year-olds in the downstairs area of the Education Wing. We also have Children’s Church for 3-year-olds through kindergarteners. For more information, contact our Children’s Ministry Director. As always, parents who prefer to keep children with them during worship services are encouraged to do so. Community-wide Longest Night Service at Boone UMC
Christmas can be a painful time for some. Whether it’s the first Christmas without a loved one, the anguish of broken relationships, the insecurity of unemployment, the weariness of ill health, or the pain of isolation, the Christmas season may not be filled with joy and happiness. Join us on Wednesday, Dec. 21, at 6:30 pm, in the Sanctuary of BUMC on the longest night of the year as we learn coping strategies and worship together, acknowledging our grief and celebrating Christ, the light that shines in the darkness. Opportunities for candlelight and prayer will be given. A short reception will follow.
