Patti joined Boone UMC in January 2015 as the Pastor of Adult Ministries. In her current role, she continues to carry responsibilities for Women’s Ministries at Boone UMC and alsotracks congregational needs, coordinates caring ministries, and ensures people in crisis are cared for by our congregation. She and her husband, Ken, are parents to five grown children and enjoy being grandparents to their awesome grandchildren who live nearby. A native of West Virginia and a retired nurse, Patti is a graduate of Marshall University and United Theological Seminary and is an ordained deacon in the Western North Carolina Conference. She has a passion for providing opportunities for adults and senior adults to serve and be served through church ministries, including Bible studies, discipleship, Stephen Ministry, and outreach. In her spare time, Patti enjoys family time, helping Ken with his prison ministry work, reading, and learning to quilt. Patti and Ken enjoy High Country living, and so do their Boston Terriers.
