Youth Sunday Night Dinner FAQs

Thank you for your willingness to serve and bless our students, youth ministry, and church in this way. It’s one of the most important things you can do to join us as we disciple students and strive to become the church God leads us in.

What You Need to Know

How many people to prepare food for:

You should prepare for 45 and 55 students and leaders. During our spring semester, we have even more with the confirmation group joining in which will be closer to 100 total.

What time to start cooking and have food ready to serve:

Typically the kitchen is open to start at 3:30pm. If you need an early time, please make prior arrangements with Danae. Please have food ready to be served by 5pm.

Set up:

Service takes place in the front section of the Kitchen with one line forming from the Gym. Ask Danae for more clarification. We are also trying to be better at not harming the earth with our weekly meals, so we are using the plates and glasses to wash at the end. Youth Leaders are willing to help in that if needed, but the less Styrofoam the better!

Clean up responsibilities:

After the meal has been served, you are responsible for clean up of the kitchen. Please wash and clean any pots, pans, serving utensils etc. that you use for the meal. There are large sinks in the back of the kitchen for washing and there is also a large industrial dishwasher you can use as well. Contact Danae to use the dishwasher. Please sweep the kitchen and only mop on a needed basis.
