The BUMC Day of Service is happeningthis Sunday,Jan. 23,2:00-4:00 pm, in the Family Life Center! Sign-up will not be necessary to take part in this event, which was rescheduled from this past Sunday due to inclement weather.

Opportunities for people of all ages to share Christ’s love through service projects will include:

– Creating hygiene kits for distribution through United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)

– Assembling water filters that provide clean water to families around the world through Wine to Water

– Creating blizzard boxes for local students struggling in the cold

– Preparing care packages for unhoused neighbors

– Writing letters of encouragement to prisoners

– Writing letters of gratitude for local hospital staff and other community servants
