Board Identity
A weekly game club for adultsCome by yourself. We’ll help you find the right table.
Modern games, clear teaching, good food, and a room where new people are expected. You do not need a group, a collection, or any idea what a deck-builder is.
Show up.
Doors open at 6:00. Come after work, grab some food, settle in, or join a quick game. A host will greet you even if you do not know anybody.
Choose a table.
At 6:30 we welcome everyone and build the main tables. Pick something quick, something strategic, or something heavier. Nobody gets left standing around studying the floor.
Learn the game.
A prepared teacher gets the table moving. You are not expected to read a rulebook before you come.
The games give people something to gather around.
The Board Identity is built for adults who want a reliable place to meet people without having to manufacture conversation. The game handles the first ten minutes. After that, people usually handle the rest.
No experience needed.
Every game is taught from the beginning.
No group required.
Arriving alone is completely normal.
Drop-ins welcome.
We will help you find a game that fits.
Boone United Methodist Church is providing the space, but this is not a religious program and there is no church participation expected. People of any faith or no faith are welcome.
Quick Play
Fast, social games that are easy to enter and easy to teach. Good for warming up, winding down, or staying for one game.
Casual Strategy
Approachable games with real decisions and enough room to get clever. This is probably where most people will start.
Deep End
Longer, richer games for people ready to settle in and think hard. Nobody gets thrown into one by accident.
