The Boone United Methodist Women’s Educational Scholarship Fund was established in 1997 by Methodist women at Boone UMC to assist deserving applicants with their educational needs at post high school levels. There are no restrictions based on the age, race, religion, or gender of applicants.

Applicants must be members or active in Boone UMC and/or residents of Watauga County and demonstrate financial need.

Deadline
The deadline for applications is March 31 and scholarships in the amount of $500-
$1,000 dollars will be awarded by May 15. Funds will be distributed to the institutions in a timely manner.

Information
This scholarship is funded by the United Methodist Women and the Missions Committee of Boone United Methodist Church. It can be enhanced by contributions, memorials, and honoraria.
