Angel Tree 2021
Boone UMC is excited to provide Christmas presents to approximately 100 children in our community again this year through Angel Tree.These children attend Hardin Park, Watauga High School, and Western Youth Network.
Once again this year, we are making it easier to be a part of Angel Tree by offering in-person and online options to choose an angel.
IN-PERSON OPTION
Angel trees will be located in the Chapel and in Crossroads, beginning Sunday, Nov. 7. Simply choose an angel from the tree and fill out your name and contact information next to your angel’s number on thesign-up sheet.
ONLINE OPTION

THINGS TO KNOW
- Please return unwrapped gifts to the church NO LATER than Sunday, Nov. 28, by noon.Please place gifts under the Angel Tree in the Chapel or in Crossroads on Sunday mornings or Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
- For all Watauga High School angels, only gift cards to Old Navy and Shoe Dept. Encore (both stores located at Boone Mall) are being requested. Hardin Park and Western Youth Network kids remain the same as in previous years with specific items listed for each angel.If possible, please provide a gift receipt in case an item does not fit.
- Please attach your Angel Tree card to your gifts with your Angel Tree number clearly displayed so that we can deliver it to the right angel.
- Gifts can be 1) placed in gift bags or 2) placed in a shopping bag with a roll of Christmas paper and bow.
- If you prefer to donate money toward Angel Tree gifts, please make check payable to BUMC with “Angel Tree” in the memo.
- If you would like to donate toward meals for our Angel Tree families, you can do so by writing a check with “Angel Tree-Thanksgiving Turkeys” in the memo line.
