On Thursdays, April 11-June 27, 2024, 6:00-8:00 pm, join us in a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. We understand that grief can be overwhelming, both emotionally and mentally. That’s why we offer a Christ-centered approach to help you navigate through complex life challenges that often follow profound loss and learn ways of coping so that you gain solid support for each step of the way. This weekly program runs for 13 weeks, providing space for healing and growth, utilizing videos, a workbook, and engaging discussions. A fee of $20 covers all the essential program materials, ensuring you have everything you need. You don’t have to face grief alone; our community is here for you. Children's Ministry

Next Generation Now is lived out richly through the Children’s Ministry, where discipling children in the ways of Christ is primary – and fun!We follow the liturgical calendar, beginning in January with the wise men’s visit to the Baby Jesus, through the Lenten season as we learn about Jesus’ life, to Jesus’ death and resurrection at Easter, through scripture as the Holy Spirit appears at Pentecost and beyond, and to Advent when we circle back around to Jesus’ birth. As we voyage through liturgical seasons, we use Godly Play, giving children space to explore faith through wonder and play. Explore our website for seasonal and year-long offerings, including Easter egg hunts, Vacation Bible School, third-grade Bible presentation and discipleship, Confirmation for sixth graders, Advent activities, and musical exploration. We have much to anticipate as Boone UMC children join in and help lead the way! Keep scrolling for past and current offerings.

Wesley Covenant Prayer

I am no longer my own, but thine.
Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be employed by thee or laid aside for thee,
exalted for thee or brought low for thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty.
Let me have all things, let me have nothing.
I freely and heartily yield all things
to thy pleasure and disposal.
And now, O glorious and blessed God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
thou art mine, and I am thine. So be it.
And the covenant which I have made on earth,
let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.
