On Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14, there are two opportunities to reflect on our mortality and receive the sign of the cross with ashes: at 5:30 pm in the Meadow (near the Firewood Lot), and at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

Lenten Kits Available on Ash Wednesday in Boone UMC’s Chapel

Are you looking for a simple but meaningful way to spend a moment or two in prayer and Scripture each day during the 40 days of Lent? Children’s Ministry is putting together prayer chain kits for pick-up in the Chapel during the Ash Wednesday Service on Feb. 14. Take your kit home and add a link to your chain each day during Lent with a prayer and a verse of Scripture. Journey with Christ through the wilderness of Lent and into the bright light of Easter morning with this simple Lenten activity. Lenten kits are available for children, adults, families, and friends!
