FLC Renovations

Exciting Improvements Coming to Our Family Life Center

Later this month, Boone UMC will begin exciting improvements to our Family Life Center (FLC) — one of the most active and well-loved spaces in our church. Fresh paint and new acoustic sound panels will transform this gathering place where our church family and community come together to worship, share meals, meet, play, and celebrate life.

These upgrades are possible because of the generosity of our congregation. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has given to make these renovations a reality. We also extend our sincere thanks to Neil Hartley and our Board of Trustees for their leadership in bringing this important project to fruition.

What to Expect During Renovations

While renovations are underway, a few adjustments to our regular schedule will be necessary. Thank you in advance for your flexibility as we complete these exciting improvements.

Worship Schedule
July 26, Aug. 2, & Aug. 9

• 8:30 a.m. Praise & Worship Service will meet as usual in the Sanctuary.
• Crossroads and the Traditional Worship Service will come together for a Combined Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
• Our pastors and worship leaders are planning meaningful combined services that will honor the spirit of both worship traditions by incorporating contemporary worship songs, beloved hymns, and shared leadership in preaching.

Together We Eat
July 30, Aug. 6, & Aug. 13

Our Together We Eat community meals will take a brief summer pause to allow space for FLC renovations and to provide a well-deserved opportunity to rest and prepare for another wonderful year of food ministry.
